Estimates not saving.

You must select a Service Type in the first box or you can’t save the Estimate. Just click the box and select from the drop down list:

Default Service Types are:

  • D-Decorating
  • W-Wallpapering
  • S-Spraying
  • T-Tape & Jointing
  • F-Flooring
  • I-Intumescent
  • O-Other
  • T-Text Only

You can adjust these in the Settings Module

 

Estimates Locking. 

The system locks Estimates for additional editing depending on the Tender Status set:

In Progress – Allows Editing

Awaiting Company Approval – Allows Editing

Company Approved – Editing Disabled (Use Revision process or revert to Tender Status that allows editing)

Sent to Client (Automatically set upon sending email to client) – Editing Disabled (Use Revision process or revert to Tender Status that allows editing)

Declined to Tender – Editing Disabled (Use Revision process or revert to Tender Status that allows editing)

It will also lock an Estimate that has been marked as “Won” and an Order added against it. Use the Duplication process if revisions required. You are unable to revert the Tender Status of a “Won” Estimate.

Valuations Locking.

The system locks a Valuation from additional editing once it has been marked as “Sent to Client” and when it has been Invoiced. If marked as “Sent to Client” either return the Valuation to Draft or use the Revision process. For Valuations that have been invoiced use the Revision process

Completed projects.

Once a Project has been completed and archived you can no longer edit or update. Create a new Project for the same site to add any updates.
